BiographyRobert Yoder received a bachelor of fine arts degree from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia in 1984 and a master of fine arts degree from the University of Washington in 1987. He has been artist-in-residence at the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art, the Jentel Foundation, Tandem Press, Bellevue Art Museum, and Centrum. He has received grants from Artist Trust, Seattle Arts Commission, the Betty Bowen Award, and the Pollock Krasner Foundation. His work has been collected by many public institutions including the New York Public Library, the City of Portland Public Art Collection, the Henry Art Gallery, Seattle Art Museum, and Tacoma Art Museum. Many corporations including Boeing, Microsoft, Intuit, Twitter, Starwood Hotels, and Nike have acquired works by Yoder.
