Jim Hodges is an internationally known artist with roots in Washington State. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Fort Wright College in Spokane in 1980 and his Master of Fine Arts degree from the Pratt Institute in 1986. He has had numerous solo exhibitions both nationally and internationally and has created a number of large-scale installations for public sites including the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington, D.C. and the Albright-Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo, New York. He has received grants and awards from the Washington State Arts Commission, the Penny McCall Foundation, The Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation, and Association Internationale des Critiques d’art.
