SuttonBeresCuller
SuttonBeresCuller is a trio of artists (John Sutton, Ben Beres and Zac Culler) who have worked collaboratively since 2000. They create ways to engage viewers beyond the confines of gallery or museum walls through mobile sculpture, street actions and temporary site-specific installations.
They have developed a wide-ranging practice including installation, performance, and public projects. SuttonBeresCuller has recently exhibited works in New York City; Shenzhen, China; and Toronto, Canada. In the Northwest, they have exhibited at the Frye Art Museum, the Henry Art Gallery, MadArt, Seattle Art Museum, Cornish College of the Arts, On the Boards, and Tacoma Art Museum. They have received awards and grants from the Jentel Foundation, Art Matters, Artist Trust, Harpo Foundation, 4Culture, and Creative Capital Foundation, among many others.
