BiographyA Vietnam native, Diem Chau and her family came to America as refugees in 1986. Chau is a bachelor of fine arts graduate from Cornish College of the Arts and has received both an Artist Trust GAP Grant and a PONCHO Artist-in-Residence Award. She has had solo exhibitions of her work at OKOK Gallery, 4Culture Art Gallery, and Richard Hugo House in Seattle, and participated in group exhibitions in New York, Miami, Seattle and Los Angeles. In addition, Chau has created commissioned works for The Wing Luke Asian Museum and Safeco Insurance’s corporate collection (now Liberty Mutual Group).
