Lauri Chambers

Lauri Chambers studied art at the University of Washington and earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1986. She has had one-person exhibitions at prestigous venues around Seattle. She has received an Artist Trust Fellowship and a Pollock-Krasner Foundation grant. Chambers was the 1998 Neddy Artist Fellow for Painting. Her work is in the collections of Microsoft Corporation, the Washington Art Consortium (the former Safeco Art Collection), City of Seattle Portable Works Collection, and Tacoma Art Museum. Her paintings have been included in group exhibitions at City Space, Boise Art Museum, and Tacoma Art Museum.
