1945 - 1952 Taught at the School of Glass in Kamenický Šenov . H
1952 - 1953 Designed the development center at the Secondary School of Glass in Železný Brod
1952 - 1958 Worked with the Central Fine Arts Center for Glass and Fine Ceramics Industry in Prague (later ÚBOK)
1953 - 1955 Artist of the Art Glass Studio in Nový Bor
1955 - 1965 Worked at the Borský Glass Technical and Visual Center in Nový Bor
1966 - 1968 Taught at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague
1969 - Began working as a freelance artist.
2006 Participated in The Visiting Artist Program, Museum of Glass, Tacoma, Washington.

One of the early innovators in art glass sculpture, he has won numerous awards for his work.
