Yan Zoritchak

born Ždiar, Czechoslovakia, 1944

BiographyYan Zoritchak studied at the School of Applied Glass in Zelezny Brod (1959-1963) and crystal production and decoration at the Prague School of Applied Arts (1963-1969). In 1970, he moved to Paris and since 1976 has worked occasionally in the Val Saint Lambert workshops. Zoritchak has exhibited throughout Europe in individual and group shows as well as lectured and given workshops. He has been named a Chevalier of the French Order of Arts and Letters.
