BiographyIvana Houserová trained at the High School of Applied Arts for Glassmaking in Zelezny Brod, Czech Republic then went on to attend the Academy of Applied Arts in Prague, graduating in 1982. She first attended classes at Pilchuck Glass School in 1988. Her work won numerous awards in Europe and the United States and can be found in museum collections in Denmark, France, Czech Republic, and Germany as well as the Corning Museum of Glass, New York. During her lifetime she participated in over 200 exhibitions. She worked primarily with mold-made glass.
