Jaq Chartier
born Albany, Georgia, 1961
Her works have been featured in major exhibitions in Switzerland and Germany and in the U.S. at the Weisman Art Museum, Block Museum of Art, and Henry Art Gallery, Seattle. Awards include an Artist Trust/Washington State Arts Commission Fellowship, and PONCHO Special Recognition Award from the Seattle Art Museum's Betty Bowen Committee. She was also a Creative Capital Grant finalist, a Joan Mitchell Foundation Award nominee, and a finalist for the 2011 Contemporary Northwest Art Award at the Portland Art Museum.
