Jack Daws is an artist, designer, and woodworker. He took classes at Atlanta College, Georgia then left to travel. He moved to Seattle in 1991. He has exhibited at the Center on Contemporary Art, Bellevue Art Museum, SOIL and other Northwest venues.He was awarded a Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant in 2006 and an Artist Trust/Washington State Arts Commission Fellowship in 2008. He was a finalist for a 2013 Neddy at Cornish Award and received a Special Recognition Betty Bowen Award from the Seattle Art Museum also in 2013.
