Jeffrey Simmons

Jeffrey Simmons graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the School of Art, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 1991. In 1996, he received both a Betty Bowen Committee Special Recognition Award and a Pilloff Scholarship from the Pilchuck Glass School. In 2005 he was a nominee for the Neddy Artist Award in Painting. His work can be found in numerous corporate and public collections in the Puget Sound region and has been exhibited in Portland, Tacoma, Seattle, and Michigan. In 2001 the Whatcom County Museum of Art, Bellingham (now the Whatcom Museum) held a solo exhibition of his work.
