Don Bunse

BiographyDon Bunse studied at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon and received his MFA from the University of Washington. He went on to serve as curator at the Cheney Cowles Museum of Art, Spokane (now the Museum of Northwest Art and Culture) and also worked at the Henry Art Gallery, University of Washington as both curator and director. In 1961 he began teaching at the University of Montana and was a delegate for the university to the People’s Republic of China. With a group of fellow artists he developed the collagraphic form of printmaking that uses collaged materials to create a printing surface.
