BiographyAfter graduating from Central Washington University with a BA and getting an MFA from Rochester School, Ned Behnke returned to Cornish College of the Arts to teach. Born deaf, he established a program for deaf students at the college.

The prestigious annual Neddy Artist Awards, funded by the Behnke Foundation (Seattle) were founded in celebration of his life as an artist.
