Kenneth Frazier
born Paris, France, 1867; died Garrison, New York, 1949
Kenneth Frazier was elected an Associate of the National Academy of Design, New York, in 1906. He was also a member of the Society of American Artists and the Century Club of New York. In 1913 he participated in the landmark Armory Show in New York, part of a group of more traditional and well respected American artists who were included alongside the more controversial and avant garde works that made the Armory Show an important turning point for American art. Frazier was particularly known for his landscapes and portraits.
