BiographyMark Mumford received his bachelor of arts degree from Kenyon College in Ohio in 1981. He has had solo exhibitions at numerous Seattle galleries and in Portland, Oregon. His work has been included in regional group exhibitions, including Baja to Vancouver: The West Coast and Contemporary Art in 2003, which traveled to Seattle, San Diego, San Francisco, and Vancouver, British Columbia. He also has exhibited work in Arizona and Ohio. Mumford has received numerous grants and awards, including a MacDowell Fellowship in 1988, a Yaddo Artist Residency in 1990, and a GAP Grant from Artist Trust in 2001.
