William Hoppe

BiographyWilliam Hoppe is an Associate Professor of Art at Central Oregon Community College where he has been teaching since 2000. He received his Bachelor of Arts in 1967 from St. John’s University, New York and his Master of Fine Arts from the University of Washington. After working in New York City for 10 years, he relocated to the Northwest. Hoppe has exhibited widely and his abstract paintings can be found in numerous museum, corporate, and private collections in the Northwest. He also has created large-scale murals for public buildings in the region including the Nordstrom Medical Tower, Seattle and The Oregon Convention Center, Portland.
