BiographyC. Davida Ingram is a social practice artist, writer, and artist-curator. She earned a BFA from the School of the Art Institute, Chicago, and an MFA from Bard College Center for Curatorial Studies. In 2014, she received The Stranger Genius Award for visual art, and her work was featured in the Frye Art Museum’s "Genius/21 Century/Seattle". She has exhibited and performed at the Greg Kucera Gallery, SOIL Gallery, the Northwest African American Museum, and Seattle Art Museum’s Olympic Sculpture Park. She is co-founder of Seattle People of Color Salon, and has been involved with the Northwest African American Museum, Queer People of Color Liberation Project, Video Machete, Women in the Director’s Chair, and Insight Arts.
