BiographyDick Huss graduated from Mankato State University and also trained with glass masters Lino Tagliapietra, Dante Marioni and Richard Marquis. He has served as an instructor at the University of Minnesota and at the Penland School of Crafts in North Carolina and completed numerous public and private commissions. His work can be found in the collection of the Art Institute of Chicago and the Corning Museum of Glass in New York among others across the U.S. He has received grants from the Minnesota State Arts Board and the Jerome Foundation. He is best known for his classically shaped vessels with sandblasted surfaces.
