BiographyBrian Pike earned his MFA from Alfred University. He currently lives on Whidbey Island where he creates artwork that focuses on his love of nature. He has taught at UrbanGlass in Brookylyn, Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, Pilchuck Glass School and others. He also was a member of Butter Eaters, a Seattle-based hot glass collective formed in 1999. They created work from 1999 to 2014 at the Pilchuck Glass School, Stanwood, Museum of Glass in Tacoma, Toyama Institute of Glass, Toyama, Japan, Pratt Fine Arts Center in Seattle, Wilson High School in Tacoma and Calgary ACAD, Canada.
