BiographyLawrence Barrett studied at the Broadmoor Art Academy, Colorado Springs then went on to become an instructor of lithography and etching there from 1938 to 1952. During the same period he also taught printmaking at the Colorado Springs Fine Art Center. In addition to his printmaking he was a painter, sculptor, and book illustrator. He co-authored the book How to Draw and Print Lithographs with printmaker Adolf Dehn in 1950.
