BiographyLeo Saul Berk earned a bachelor of fine arts degree from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana and a master of fine arts degree from the University of Washington in 1999. His work has been included in exhibitions locally at the Henry Art Gallery, the Lee Center at Seattle University, the Cornish College of the Arts, the Bellevue Art Museum, and the Frye Art Museum. Nationally, his work has been included in exhibitions at the California State University Art Museum, Long Beach, and d.u.m.b.o. arts center, Brooklyn. He has received major commissions from Sound Transit (University Link Light Rail Station, King County Library System, Vulcan, Inc., 4Culture, and the University of Washington. Berk has received individual grants from 4Culture and Artist Trust, and he is the 2010 Arts Innovator Award recipient, endowed by Dale Chihuly.
