Roberta Williamson

BiographyRoberta Williamson has a BS in education from Northern Illinois University and MFA in jewelry and metalsmithing from Virginia Commonwealth University. Most of her works are created in collaboration with her husband, David using a collection of found objects, antique prints and other ephemera. Their works reference personal memories and experiences often in a celebratory or playful way.

Her individual and collaborative works are in the collections of the Smithsonian Museum of American Art, the Racine Art Museum, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Ohio Crafts Museum and others as well as numerous private collections. In 2009, she and her husband were featured in the PBS documentary, Craft in America.
