BiographyFrederick Heidel earnedhis M.F.A. at the Art Institute of Chicago. He was a resident of Long Beach in the 1940s.

By the 1960s he was teaching art at Portland (Oregon) State College.

Exhibited: California Watercolor Society, 1946-49; San Francisco Museum of Art, 1947, 1949 (solo); Oakland Museum, 1950; Oregon State Fair, 1957-59. Member of the Portland Art Association.
