BiographySteven Fuller began teaching at the University of Washington in the 1950s. With Russell Day and others he conducted a number of experiments using kiln-forming techniques to work glass--Dale Chihuly did some of his first work with fused glass in Fuller's class at the University in 1961. The Henry Art Gallery held a show of Fuller's fused glass work in 1964 and he created a fused glass screen for the Magnolia LIbrary, Seattle.

Fuller also taught leather-working and worked with leather to create jewelry and other finely detailed objects.
