Robert Andrew Parker
born Norfolk, Virginia, 1927
Worked at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Maine and at Stanley William Hayter's Atelier 17 in New York.
Began working as a commercial illustrator in 1954, traveled all over the world doing commissions for various publications. Also became a master printmaker
Parker has his first solo show in 1954, and has since exhibited extensively. He has done set designs for opera and film as well as book illustrations.
