Thomas T. Wilson
born Champaign, Illinois, 1931; died Seattle, Washington, 2015
Thomas Wilson received his bachelor's degree in painting from the University of Illinois and MFA from the University of Oregon. He served as assistant, then acting, director of the Santa Fe Art Museum before moving to Port Townsend in 1960 where he worked as a painter and teacher. In 1975 he moved to Seattle where he continued to paint and be active with many arts organizations. The University of Washington Press published a book on his work in 2004.
