William Moore

born Arlington, Virginia, 1945

BiographyOregon sculptor. MFA from the University of Michigan in 1971. He began teaching sculpture at the Pacific Northwest College of Art, Portland, OR in 1972 He has worked extensively with wood. In the late 1980s be began focusing intensively on wood turning and also working with metal spinning. Has exhibited extensively in Oregon, California, Michigan, Philadelphia, New York.
