Claudia Fitch

BiographyClaudia Fitch studied painting at the University of Washington and earned her Master of Fine Arts degree from the Tyler School of Art at Temple University in Philadelphia. Her one-person exhibitions include shows at the European Ceramic Work Centre in Hertogenbosch,The Netherlands; the Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute, Utica, New York; and in New York City at P.S. 122, the New Museum of Contemporary Art, and Franklin Furnace. She has shown frequently at museums in Washington State, including Bellevue Art Museum and Seattle Art Museum. She has recently completed commissions for Metro King County and Qwest Field. Fitch was the recipient of a Pollock-Krasner Foundation grant in 1997 and a Neddy Artist Fellowship in 2000.
