BiographyWarren Langley received his BSc from the University of Sydney in 1972 and studied with glass artists in Australia, the United Kingdom, and the U.S. His best known works combine light and glass and he often works in larger scale creating installations that work with their architectural environments. He has participated in solo and group exhibitions throughout Australia, Japan, the United States, Canada, Sweden, Germany, Switzerland, France, Denmark, Germany, Holland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Luxembourg and New Zealand and executed over 50 public art commissions in New Zealand and Australia. His work can be found in collections in Europe, Asia, Australia, and the U.S. In 1996 he was awarded a Fellowship by the Australia Council for the Arts and in 2010 he was a finalist in the Art in the Working Place category at the International Architecture Symposium in Barcelona.
