BiographyRay Hill studied l at the Rhode Island School of Design, Providence and The California School of Fine Arts in San Francisco California, and in Rome, Italy.

From 1927 to 1961, he was a professor in the art department at the University of Washington.

He had one-man exhibitions at the Denver Art Museum; Seattle Art Museum

Specialized in watercolor landscapes along the Northwest coast (Oregon, Washington)
