Lucinda Parker
After earning a Master of Fine Arts degree from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn in 1968, Lucinda Parker returned to Portland and began teaching at the Pacific Northwest College of Art in 1972, a position she held till 2006. She also has taught at universities in Oregon, California, and Washington. Her paintings can be found in numerous corporate, private and museum collections across the Northwest. She also has executed commissions for a number of public buildings including the federal courthouse in Bakersfield, California, the Ford Alumni Center, University of Oregon, Eugene and City Hall, Portland, Oregon. Her extensive exhibition history includes one-person exhibitions at Pacific Northwest College of Art, Portland, Boise Art Museum, Seattle Art Museum, and a retrospective at Portland Art Museum in 1995.
