Robin Winters

Robin Winters is a conceptual artist. He has worked in a variety of media including performance art, film, video, photography, printmaking, painting, sculpture, and glassblowing. He began studying at the San Francisco Art Institute (SFAI) in the early 1970s. In 1972 he was accepted into the Whitney Independent Study Program in New York City. He has received numerous grants and awards and has shown work and given performances all over the world.

Winters is also a teacher. He has taught at the School of Visual Arts (SVA), in New York City, Sarah Lawrence College, Pilchuck Glass School, the Rhode Island School of Design and the San Francisco Art Institute among others.
