Eunice Jensen Parsons

BiographyEunice Parsons was a painter, printmaker and collagist. She grew up in Chicago, and as a child, she drew constantly. At ten, she attended lectures at the Art Institute of Chicago and was exposed to the collections there. As an adult she set up a studio in the her basement and began to draw her children and their friends, eventually enrolling in the Museum Art School at the Portland Art Museum (OR). She later taught at the Museum School from 1957 - 1979. She began working in collage in the early 1970s.
