Walter Lieberman received his bachelor of fine arts from Massachusetts College of Art in Boston in 1978. He has had a number of solo exhibitions in New York, San Francisco, Seattle, and Detroit. He has been a visiting artist at Pilchuck Glass School in Stanwood, Washington, and Penland School of Crafts in North Carolina, as well as teaching workshops at universities in Europe, Canada, and the United States. Lieberman’s work can be found in the collections of the Corning Museum of Glass, New York; the City of Seattle; the Washington State Arts Commission; and Glasmuseum in Frauenau, Germany, in addition to private and corporate collections.
