1982-1987, taught graphic design and typography in Boston at the NE School of Art and Design and MassArt

1991 co-founded DECODE, Inc., developing textbooks for educational publishers in el-high markets. 1994: moved the company to Seattle.

2004: co-founded Platform Gallery, Seattle
