Stow Wengenroth was a distinguished lithographer known for his realistic New England coastal scenes, landscapes, and still lifes. He authored the book Making a Lithograph in 1936. He studied art at the Art Students League in New York City and later became an instructor there. He was a member of watercolor and print clubs throughout the United States and exhibited widely as well, often winning prizes for his work. His prints can be found in collections across the country.
