John McCuistion

John McCuistion holds a B.A. from Humboldt State University and earned an M.F.A. in 1973 from the University of Montana. He began teaching at the University of Puget Sound in 1976, becoming full Professor and then Chair of the Department of Art. He retired in 2014. He has received numerous national and international awards including the Biennale Internationale De Ceramique D’Art, Vallauris, France in 1994 and an N.E.A. Craftsman Fellowship in 1979. McCuistion’s artwork has also been included in a variety of publications.
