William Anthonyborn Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, 1934
The painter and illustrator William Anthony was born in New Jersey but grew up in Washington State. He studied art briefly with Josef Albers at Yale, where he recived a B.A. degree in European History in 1958. He also studied with Theodoros Stamos at the Art Students League in New York City.
He currently lives and works in New York City.
