Karen Hackenberg

Karen Hackenberg graduated with a bachelor of fine arts degree from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1978. Her work has been exhibited frequently in galleries and museums in Washington and Oregon, including one-person exhibitions at the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art in 2015 and the Northwind Arts Center in Port Townsend in 2011. Her paintings are in the collections of the University of California Berkeley’s Environmental Design Library, Carnegie Mellon University Library, the Washington State Art Collection, the Portland Art Museum, the Hallie Ford Museum of Art, and the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art.
