Steve Schauerborn Orange, California, 1952; died Topanga, California, 2006
Steve Schauer graduated in 1978 from California State Fullerton. He exhibited widely in group exhibitions during the 1980s at galleries throughout California. He taught at Otis/Parsons in Los Angeles from 1979-1982, Golden West Community College in Huntington Beach, Cal State Long Beach from 1982-1988 and at Yale University.
Schauer worked in a variety of media from glass to steel. He also created large-scale installations and conceptual works.
