BiographyTed Long was a sculptor and oil painter, known for his western and military subjects. He attended North Platte High School and received numerous art internships, but had no formal art training. Throughout his life he lived and worked on a ranch northwest of North Platte, Nebraska where he also had his studio. His work can be found in corporate and private collections, galleries and museums across the U.S. His last commission was a large sculptural monument for the 20th Century Veterans Memorial, Nebraska.
