Barbara Boldt

Barbara Boldt emigrated from Germany to Canada when she was 22 years old. She studied painting in British Columbia and also operated a gallery in Fort Langley. During the 1980s and 1990s she worked out of her home studio and also operated two other galleries including Barbara Boldt Original Art Studio in Fort Langley, still in operation today.

Boldt is a realist painter particularly interested in the abstractions to be found in natural forms. She has had numerous solo shows at galleries in British Columbia and participated in group shows in British Columbia and Ontario. Her work can be found in private collections throughout British Columbia.
