Matt Sellars
Matt Sellars was raised in Idaho and then moved to Washington state in 1982. He attended Cornish College of the Arts, Seattle where he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts focused on sculpture. Sellars has shown extensively in Washington as well as Idaho, Montana and Oregon.
In 2017 Sellars, as part of the artist/architect collaborative team Kraft Duntz (David Lipe, Matt Sellars, and Dan Webb), along with artist Dawn Cerny exhibited a commissioned interactive installation at the Henry Art Gallery. In the spring of 2020, Sellars created an installation (Ruta Alternativa) for the exhibit Free Play at the Sun Valley Museum or Art. Sculptures by Matt Sellars are held in collections of the Microsoft Art Collection and the Washington State Arts Consortium as well as numerous private collections.
