Becky Frehse

Becky Frehse is a mixed media artist whose work includes painting, drawing, found object sculpture, site-specific installations, and book arts. Her recent work explores musical themes in site-specific installations and paintings. Becky's eclectic bodies of work reveal a studio practice filled with ideas about seeing musical sound, loving the natural world, and experiencing the world as a traveler. Becky's work is filled with playfulness, compassion, and painterly beauty that she hopes will resonate with her audience.

Becky holds an M.F.A. in painting from Central Washington University and a B.F.A. in painting and drawing from Arizona State University. She lives and works in Tacoma, Washington.
