BiographyHe began his career as a painter, studying Japanese-style painting with Kiyokata Kaburagi and Yuki Somei, and as a student at the Tokyo School of Fine Arts. As a printmaker, Takashi Ito is known for a collection of landscape prints that he completed between 1922 and the 1930s for the famous publisher Shozaburo Watanabe.
