Jeanne Moment

Jeanne Moment worked as a high school teacher while studying art at the University of California Berkeley (1921), Columbia University (1928) and California School of Fine Arts. She moved to Oregon in 1940 where she took classes at Portland Art Museum's Museum Art School. Reed College's art gallery, Portland Art Museum, and the Oregon Jewish Museum have all had exhibtions of her work. She worked with oil, watercolor and lithographic prints, often using nature and the outdoors as subjects.
