DescriptionClose-up image of a tulip flower inside a black rectangle. Per printer's notes on image this was a working proof: "Proof 1 project began as a monoprint session/Early plate, later discarded, outline of tulip etched after an asphaltum silhouette was painted on bare plate. Inside texture is monotype. Project began with this technique. Michael then rejected it and started drypoint tulips, he then etched in the background after the outline was created with drypoint."On View
