Beta Press Collection

Beta Press was a Seattle fine art press established in 1992 by Marcia Bartholme and Berit Bardarson. When the press closed in 2001 they gifted their print archive to Tacoma Art Museum. This collection includes 79 final prints and 335 working proofs by a small group of Northwest artists including Michael Gregory, Gregory Grenon, Robert Helm, Judy Hill, Fay Jones, Carolyn Krieg, Jim Lavadour, Jacob Lawrence, Tom Lieber, Jeffry Mitchell, Anne Siems, and Carrie Mae Weems.
